Cornelius comes to the programme with prior work experience in the fields of economic research and international finance. Most recently, he implemented an impact evaluation of an innovative ultra-poverty reduction program in the Philippines. Cornelius graduated with a double major in Economics and Global Affairs from Yale University in 2014. At Yale, he competed successfully on the varsity fencing team – and served as captain in his junior and senior years. Involved in several leadership initiatives, he is a fellow of the inaugural Churchill Leadership Development Fellowship Program. Cornelius has extensive experience living, working and travelling internationally.
