Amandeep Singh


Prior to joining the MPP, Amandeep Singh was a researcher at the Centre for Policy Research (CPR), New Delhi, a public policy think tank. At CPR, he worked on understanding issues related to urban sanitation, in particular, the relationships between sanitation technologies and the social contexts in which these are embedded. Aman holds an MSc in Environmental Policy and Regulation, and a BSc in Environmental Policy with Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. More recently, he has been interested in exploring the role of data in society, and issues such as data privacy and the threat of identity politics, negotiating access to data held by market and civic society actors, and the role of legal instruments and their shortcomings for Internet regulation.
