Benjamin Vedrand-Maillet


After the completion of two degrees in History and Philosophy at the
Sorbonne-University in Paris, Benjamin launched the startup ‘Chatabl’, an
online debate platform. Subsequently, he obtained a Master in Political
Philosophy – doing his first year at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales under the direction of the French thinker Marcel Gauchet, and his second one at the Ecole Normale Supérieure of Paris. Alongside his studies, he
joined the cabinet of the French Secretary of State for Family, Elderly People,
Youth and Autonomy. In charge of speech writing, Benjamin actively participated
in the defense of two main social justice reforms, regarding society aging and
youth protection, both since enacted by the President. Furthermore, Benjamin is
involved in the ‘Cercle Hébé’ Think-Tank, publishing articles and hosting
conferences with the ambition to voice the aspirations of a dynamic and
optimistic generation.
