School project

We are interested in making contact with teachers at sixth form colleges and schools.

Perhaps you have used or would like to use ELECTION as a teaching aide or something to provoke class discussion? Maybe you have a debating society or politics club who would like to feature on this website. We are very keen to talk to and involve young people who are interested in politics. Please use the CONTACT US form to get in touch and one of the team will get back to you quickly.

ELECTION schools project: Westminster Harris

At the end of February, pupils from Westminster Harris Sixth Form came to meet the ELECTION team and visit the University. Mrinmoyee, Joshua and Rashidat are all 17 and interested in studying politics and history and humanities - although haven't made up their minds about exact courses yet! David Runciman talked to them about Corbyn, the US election and the EU referendum before they had a tour of POLIS and visits to a couple of colleges, too. You can hear their conversations below.

Westminster Harris 1: Mrinmoyee Roy, Joshua Daniels, and Rashidat Animashaun, came to POLIS to meet David Runciman. He asked the pupils - all from Westminster Harris sixth form - what particularly interested or puzzled them about politics generally.

ELECTION schools project: Jack Hunt School Politics club

Pupils at Jack Hunt School set up a politics club after watching a live recording of Election at the Cambridge Festival of Ideas. Catherine Carr went to meet their teacher Lucie Swannell and the club's members.

Pupils from Jack Hunt School watched the recording and had the opportunity to ask Professor David Runciman questions after it. You can listen to them below.
