Published in June 2014, Crisis Without End? The Unravelling of Western Prosperity is Professor Andrew Gamble's new book in which he argues that contrary to popular belief, the world economy cannot simply go back to business as usual following the 2008 financial crisis. Professor Gamble argues that the problems facing western economies go much deeper and details the flaws that make crisis more likely and leave society more vulnerable to its effects. And he shows how acceptance of the status quo hinders us in addressing the challenges of governance, sustainability, and legitimacy in a changing global order.
Following the release of his book, Professor Gamble spoke to Jonathan Derbyshire of Prospect about his views on the current crisis; you can read the full interview here.
