Carlos Terrazas

Born and raised in Texas, with a Hispanic background, Carlos is a disabled person that loves a challenge and the opportunity to learn. Carlos attended the University of Arizona in 2013 to earn a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling.  He has worked in the Higher Education setting to determine reasonable accommodations for disabled students for the last three years. It is through his work at the Disability Resource Center that has led him to believe a lot of the barriers disabled people experienced are caused by the environment rather than the individual.  Carlos is interested in disability, health and education policies that may improve the quality life of people.  During his free time, he likes to work out, hanging out with friends and just enjoy what life brings to him.  He is thrilled to start this new phase of life in Cambridge!
