Casey Millward


Casey is a proud Aboriginal woman from Townsville, Australia, of Kalkadoon Nation heritage, who has a passion for addressing inequality for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. 

Casey completed her Master of Management with Merit from the AustraliaNational University in 2017 and also holds a Bachelor in Business from the University of Southern Queensland. In 2016, Casey was awarded a Chief Executive Women's scholarship to study an Executive Leadership course at INSEAD in Singapore. 


Casey has had a distinguished career in the government, community and private sectors, most recently as a Director in the Australian Government Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet.

Casey’s public policy experience and interests are in education and employment, particularly for Indigenous Australians.

Casey is married and has a son and a dachshund.
