Jingmiao Ouyang


Jingmiao Ouyang is currently a graduate student in Public Policy at the Newnham College, Cambridge. She earned a B.A. in International Development Studies from McGill University in 2017, where she worked as a research assistant and teaching assistant. Prior to coming at the Cambridge, she worked at Euromonitor International and PricewaterhouseCoopers, and she also volunteered at a Children rights NGO, Humanium. There she worked with the projects in Rwanda and India on improving children's’ access to health care and education and on strengthening the community’s role of psycho-social support. Jingmiao developed a passion for using interdisciplinary approaches to solve policy issues, and she is particularly interested in assessing the challenges in Health Insurance Reform and in coping with the climate change.
