Tim Balin


Tim Balin is an Australian public servant who has worked across multiple portfolios and Ministries, most recently in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. He has worked on the front line, in policy, on projects and in program management. On the front line he has worked in remote Aboriginal communities supporting Australia’s Closing the Gap framework. He has worked on social policy and has supported the implementation of social policy programs including Australia’s employment services. Internationally, he worked as a research fellow in the United States Senate. He holds a degree in Public Administration from the Australian National University, as well as a degrees in Business and Science from the University of Technology, Sydney.
