Felipe Valencia-Dongo


Born and raised in Peru, Felipe graduated as an Economist with the highest honors from Universidad del Pacifico (Lima). Prior to joining the MPP, he worked directly with Peru’s Prime Minister, Fernando Zavala, as his Advisor (2016-2017). Before he worked as Advisor to Peru's Minister of Education, Jaime Saavedra (2014-2016) and as Specialist in the Cabinet of Advisors to the first Minister of Development and Social Inclusion of Peru (2012-2013). He also worked for Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Peace Prize winner, in The Grameen Creative Lab, executing social business projects in Colombia (2011). He was selected to be part of the Global Shapers of the World Economic Forum.


Felipe enjoys writing, traveling, meeting people and listening to The Beatles; he loves the red color. He joins the MPP as a Chevening and Cambridge Scholar.
