Rebecca Resnik

Biography:

Rebecca Resnik is a United States diplomat who specializes in Public Diplomacy.  She was most recently posted at the Department of State in Washington, D.C., in the Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs, where she served as the Public Diplomacy Coordinator for Mainland Southeast Asia.  Her previous tours include serving as Vice Consul at the U.S. Embassy in Austria, and as Press Attaché and Embassy Spokesperson at the U.S. Embassy in Algeria.  Prior to becoming a Foreign Service Officer, Rebecca worked as an analyst at the U.S. Department of Defense, focusing on combatting proliferation and counter-terrorism.  She speaks French, German, and Arabic, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
