NEW: 2 PhD Funding Awards available in POLIS

last modified Dec 04, 2013 04:54 PM

Suitably qualified candidates who apply to read for a PhD in POLIS can expect to be considered for GATES, ESRC, AHRC and various other Cambridge-related scholarships. In this year's application round POLIS is offering 2 additional maintenance grants of £7,300 p.a. for 3 years, as well as the payment of 3 years’ worth of college fees, to 2 suitably qualified applicants.

Successful candidates will be expected to apply to the Department in the normal way (http://www.polis.cam.ac.uk/Graduates/ProsPhD/how-to-apply), and meet our requirements. To be awarded this POLIS specific funding, candidates will also have to be awarded a fee-waiver from the University of Cambridge (and appropriate candidates will automatically be considered for by ticking the relevant funding boxes on their applications forms).

The deadline for applications is 10th January 2014.

Candidates should expect to be informed of the result in April 2014.

Please also note, that given the high numbers of PhD applications we receive, POLIS will not enter into any correspondence about funding decisions.
