Photo taken in March, 2014 in Erbil (Hewler) in Iraqi Kurdistan during the annual Newroz festivities.  The men pictured are celebrating the spring festival by taking part in traditional Kurdish folk dancing in the rural landscape. The occasion of Newroz at the time was seen as a turning point in the Kurdish peace process underway in neighboring Turkey.
