Ben Friedman is an MPhil in Public Policy candidate. He is attending the University of Cambridge as a recipient of a Thouron Award, a fellowship for University of Pennsylvania alumni to support graduate education in the United Kingdom.

Prior to attending Cambridge, Ben worked in communications on a number of political campaigns in the United States. He was the New Hampshire Communications Associate and later New England Communications Director for the Democratic presidential primary campaign of Senator Amy Klobuchar. Following a short stint as Communications Director on a congressional campaign in Illinois, Ben returned to the Granite State as New Hampshire Press Secretary for President Joe Biden in the 2020 general election. Most recently, Ben was a Voter Protection Fellow with the Democratic National Committee in Washington, D.C.

Ben attended the University of Pennsylvania and holds a B.A. in Political Science and Communication.
