Gavriel Ben-Haim pursues the MPhil in Public Policy program at Cambridge to acquire the knowledge and tools to promote informed policy solutions to social issues and drive meaningful impact in public service. While completing a BA in psychology at The Open University of Israel (graduated with highest honors), Gavriel served as Student Union President, President and Chairperson of The Israeli Model UN Association, and a member of The Open University Learning Analytics Steering Committee. In these roles, he strove to reduce dropout rates and Foster academic excellence, life skills, and social entrepreneurship. Furthermore, he was recently appointed by Haifa's City Council to the Municipal Welfare Committee. His research interests lie in adapting education, welfare, and public health to the 21st-century and the role of behavioral science in formulating effective policy.
