Takako joins the MPP on a scholarship from the Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation after 6 years of professional experience at Mitsubishi Research Institute - Japan’s leading think tank. As a policy consultant with focus on emerging aerospace technologies (primarily drones, urban air mobility, and next-gen satellites), Takako has driven policy making / international standardizations on behalf of both public and private sector clients, and has supported cross-border business development as well as R&D management.

Takako has an LLB in Political Science and a minor in American Studies from Keio University, where she also completed a one-year exchange program with the University of California, Berkeley.
