Climate Activism, Digital Technologies, and Organizational Change by Mette Eilstrup-Sangiovanni and Nina Hall

Professor Mette Eilstrup-Sangiovanni has co-authored a book which asks, "How do climate advocacy organizations use digital technologies to campaign for climate action?"

This book examines how technology influences the formation, scope, and organizational structures of climate organizations, the goals they strive for, and their choice of strategies and tactics. Rather than assume that digitalization supports climate activism, the authors highlight opportunities as well as risks and challenges arising from technology-based advocacy. The book offers practical, illustrative examples from across the world, focusing on climate advocacy both in the Global North and Global South.
