Students on the MPhil in International Relations and Politics or the MPhil in Public Policy may, in cases of acute hardship resulting from unforeseen circumstances (for example, essential travel because of family illness or bereavement; funds needed to complete studies), apply to the Departmental MPhil Student Hardship Fund. The hardship fund makes small one-off payments of up to £300.
Applicants should complete aexplaining their circumstances and need. They should get the approval of their Course Director and then send the form to their MPhil administrator.
Following approval from the Chair of the Graduate Education Committee a cheque will be raised for the student.
