In her mixed methods research Veronica investigates how trust in government varies across countries in relation to political participation patterns. She is particularly interested in how certain individual and system-level factors influence the trust-participation relationship in different national contexts, while also considering how lived experiences of political engagement shape one’s attitude towards the government. Prior to her PhD, Veronica completed an MPhil in Politics and International Studies with Distinction at the University of Cambridge and a First Class Honours BSc in Politics, Philosophy and Economics at University College London.
