The Department of Politics and International Studies (POLIS) at the University of Cambridge is delighted to announce the appointment of Duncan Kelly as Professor of Politics (effective 1 July 2025). His election to this position marks a significant new milestone in Professor Kelly's distinguished career at Cambridge, where he has been a valued member of the faculty since 2007, and Professor of Political Thought and Intellectual History since 2018.
"I'm deeply honoured to have been elected as the Professor of Politics, and extremely grateful for the continued support of the Department and the University," said Professor Kelly. "I look forward to pursuing some new plans for research and teaching, and continuing to contribute to the vibrant intellectual life of the department and the wider university."
