Cambridge Geopolitics Conversation Podcast
The first episode on Democracy and Division, with Raffaello Pantucci is available now
Suzanne Raine talks to Rafaello Pantucci about what far-right extremists have learned from Islamist terrorists.
Part of the Resistance, Radicalisation and Religion Series:
Suzanne Raine, Affiliate Lecturer, explores how resistance to authority has interacted with religious and political extremism. Following the deadly Capitol Riot in Washington D.C. this January, academics and counter-extremism experts will use current and historical examples to explore how extremist movements learn from each other, the role of belief – religious or otherwise – in motivating or enabling people to rebel and resist, the impact of being on the 'losing side’, and how society might respond to radicalisation.
The Cambridge Geopolitics Conversation Podcast is available on the Centre's Youtube Channel, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and other common podcast hosts.
