As part of our alumni outreach programme, we ask one of our POLIS alumni per term for their memories of Cambridge, as well as an update on what they are doing now.
  • Easter April 2015 - Ian Pryde, Founder & Chairman, Eurasia Strategy and Communications, Moscow
  • Michaelmas Sept 2015 - Matthew Neuhaus, Ambassador with Australian Foreign Service
  • Easter April 2016 - Justin Holt, Colonel in Royal Marines
  • Easter April 2017 - Alex Rushmer, Restaurateur and Runner Up in Masterchef 2010
  • Michaelmas Sept 2017 - Robyn Curnow, CNN anchor and host of International Desk with Robyn Curnow.
  • Michaelmas Sept 2018 - Chris Vermont, Senior Expert to the EU on a financial guarantee programme to address the causes of economic migration.
  • Easter May 2019 - Seth Thomas, after a career focused on international markets and issues, now at the Bank of England covering international policy and political risk.
  • Michaelmas Sept 2019 - Rasmus Gjedssø Bertelsen completed his PhD in International Relations at POLIS between 2002 and 2008. Since then he has been a postdoctoral researcher at Harvard, United Nations University (Yokohama), Aalborg University and is now Professor of Northern Studies and Barents Chair in Politics at The Arctic University of Norway (Tromsø).
